Welcome to the 2008 Terrace Park Bulldog Girls Lacrosse Team.  The following information will help to provide an overview of the program for the upcoming season.

Season Length:  February 27, 2008 – May 17, 2008

Required Equipment:  Stick, mouth guard and goggles.  Any girl who does not have a mouth guard or goggles will not be permitted to participate in practice or games.

Skills:  The girls will be taught how to catch and throw, shoot, pick up ground balls, cradle while running at full speed (with both their right and left hands), and various dodging maneuvers.  We will also teach offensive and defensive team and individual strategies.  It is our goal to send fundamentally sound team players to our Junior High and High School programs.  Players that work on their skills between team practices experience the most growth and enjoy the most success on the field of play.  Find a friend or a wall and practice the fundamentals.

Citizenship and Sportsmanship:  Lacrosse is a game played by good people who are good citizens and students who honor the rules of good sportsmanship.  Conduct is expected to be respectful of team members, referees, coaches and opponents.
